What do you think, should it be legal to sell foods prepared at home?

The state of California has made it legal for people to sell foods prepared in their own home. No need to rent commercial community kitchens anymore.

Manitoba Health constantly tracks down and fine people selling (especially on social media) foods prepared in unregistered kitchens. Perhaps the current licensing system is hard to navigate?

Would it be a productive solution to implement such a policy change in Manitoba? WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS?

Could it help improve access to healthy and traditional foods for different communities? Could it help increase the revenue of food preparation workers?
