Mid-February Updates:

1) CFCC (Community Food Centres Canada) is hiring a Senior Philanthropy Officer. More details and the application portal can be found HERE. Deadline to apply is February 14th!

2) CCEDNet Manitoba is hiring an Events and Engagement Coordinator. More information can be found HERE, and the closing date to apply is February 16th.

3) Farm to Cafeteria Canada is offering grants of up to $10,000 with the purpose of bringing locally produced foods into schools. Applications are due on February 18th. Guidelines can be found HERE, and an information recap is available HERE.

4) The Conference Board of Canada is hosting their Future Skills Summit online from February 22-24. The agenda and registration can be found HERE!

5) CCEDNet’s Community Leadership Program for this spring is opening for enrolment! As an opening to the program, CCEDNet is also offering an introductory 2.5 hour session called Leading Through Change. Two course dates are available: February 24th and March 1st, and registration can be done HERE.

6) CHEF (the Canada Home Economics Foundation) is seeking proposals for the Doris Badir Leadership Award, which is an award to help support home economics projects. Applications are due on February 28th, and more information and criteria can be found HERE.

7) The Manitoba government and the Manitoba 4-H Council are accepting intakes for the Alexander Cherban Agriculture Industry Development Program (ACAIDP) until February 28th. ACAIDP provides up to $50,000 for year-long province-wide projects on supporting skills development in agriculture and food-related career opportunities. 8) Righting Relations Canada is offering microgrants to support projects connected to food sovereignty. Grants are available for all Righting Relations West Hub members, and applications are due on March 4th. Application questions can be found HERE, and completed applications can be sent to
